3-in-1 Credit Report
Credit report is a record of an individual's or company's past borrowing and repaying, including information about late payments and bankruptcy.
This information is collected and recorded by
credit bureaus. In the United States (and in UK) there are 3 major credit bureaus (also known as "credit reporting agencies"): Equifax, Equifax, and Trans Union. Each of these "big 3" collects information independently, so each consumer actually has 3 credit files, or credit reports about them. These 3 credit reports obviously overlap but they may or may not be identical, because the bureaus do not necessarily collect information from same sources.
3-in-1 Credit Report tries to present the most complete picture of an individual's credit history by combining credit reports from all 3 major bureaus. Thus, they are aptly named "3-in-1" and are provided online by the credit bureaus and other financial institutions.
